She believes strongly that Nutrition and Preventative medicine are the cornerstones of a good practice. That there is a serious flaw in our food chain that allows pesticides, herbicides and cancerous animals to be consumed by both humans and animals. Major policy changes need to occur in the USDA and in Dept of Agriculture so as improve the total health of the crops, farm animals and the return of the family farms where there is a respect for the animal. Our foods need to be "health foods" not just substances that satisfy our hunger but products that keep us healthy. Many modalities of treatment are incorporated into her practice including Classical Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Immune Support, Surgery, and Diagnostics.
The Emily Project has been started to bring attention to the increasing amount of cancer in animals and humans. Bovine Leukemia Virus is a transmissible virus between cows and spread to calves through milk, blood, body fluids and insect vectors. It is found in 89% US Dairy Cattle. Bovine Leukemia has been found in human serum and suspect in human breast tissue in women and in women's breast milk. www.theemilyproject.org
