![]() On June 2, 2017, Dr. Roman spoke at the conference of the Association Espana Professional Medical in Ozonotherapy (“AEPROMO”) in Madrid Spain. The topic at the 5th International Congress was “Better Ozone Therapy with Training, Investigation and Publications.” There were more than 15 countries represented at the conference, in many languages, with research papers and presentations on Ozone Therapy. In the One Medicine Platform, ideas were exchanged in Medicine (all different specialties), Dentistry, Naturopathic, Veterinary and Biochemistry. This format was an exciting way to share new and creative ways to help bring better health to both humans and animals.
Some of the research papers with presentations included:
Dr. Roman presented the Use of Ozonated Saline, cutaneously, subcutaneously, intravenously in veterinary medicine. She also presented a case using Intraperitoneal Gas as ways to deliver ozone therapy to animals. She presented techniques and cases in dogs and cats. The response was very positive. Dr. Roman believes: “It is such an opportunity to bring ideas and learn new ones that will benefit my patients.” The MDs and DDSs seem to love the veterinary presentations. They think of applications for their patients and, since many have their own pets, they think of ways to help them. Following the conference, Dr. Roman took some time and visited Spain’s and Portugal’s rich history as she traveled with her husband Jeffrey.
