At Main Street Animal Services of Hopkinton (MASH), we are so excited to be celebrating 30 years at 72 West Main Street. MASH was started 36 years ago initially as Mobile Animal Services of Hopkinton and moved into the clinic in 1989. Since 1993 we have been the first integrative veterinary clinic in New England. Over the years, we have added multiple modalities to our practice. These include acupuncture, herbal medicine (Chinese, Ayurvedic and Western), ozone therapy, Micro Biome Restorative Therapy (MBRT), hyperbaric oxygen, functional medicine, functional nutrition, major autohemotherapy, minor autohemotherapy, ultraviolet blood therapy (UVBI), pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), laser therapy, lumalight therapy, physical therapy, and chiropractic. We also have surgery, dental care, conventional, and medical diagnostic testing. We evaluate your pets’ needs with antibody titers and vaccinate, only when needed, so we can safely give to a healthy animal. We provide advice on good nutrition and what to do to keep your best animal family members well and thriving. We have added some new equipment recently that is first in New England. We now have the Hemealumen: UVBI and Photonic blood therapy. This unit is the first one placed in a veterinary facility in the world. It uses both ultraviadviceolet light and photoluminescent color: red, amber, green and blue, that have specific healing and immune support. With the addition of Ozone therapy, we are stimulating an Oxidative response that sets up a healing cascade. We have also been using the Sanawave. Developed by Dr. Al Nunez it utilizes hyperthermia, rife technology and pulse electromagnetic field, PEMF. We are using both of these technologies as an integrated part of our immune stimulation and cancer care. We have also added the BEMER, a PEMF system. Through our leadership in Micro Biome Restorative Therapy (MBRT), we have become the first veterinary clinic in the world to have a donor bank for cat and dog microbiome. With a greater understanding of the micro biome, the medical field has exploded with more research articles on this cutting-edge medical therapy. We were the first clinic in the world to start doing dog and cat fecal transplants for medical conditions. Starting in 2012 we started only for G.I. issues and now we realize it’s amazing for allergies, liver and kidney issues, autoimmune issues, cancer and behavior. MASH now ships both capsules and slurries all over the United States for other veterinarians to be able to use the quality donors that we have loved and raised. Keeping the immune system strong, eating healthier, with higher quality food, not giving antibiotics and drugs that kill the micro biome, not over vaccinating and damaging the immune system, understanding how health can be achieved are our goals. Our mission has always been to give our clients the best knowledge so that not only will their pets’ health improve but the information they get will help their whole family. With three veterinarians on staff, Drs. Ayse Washington, Dianicia Kirton and founder Margo Roman, we are able to serve our clients with more hours of operation. We want to work as a team to help you understand how we can improve your animal health. Our staff welcomes you to join our journey of improving health and wellbeing.
