![]() My eldest daughter, Shira Auerhahn, had her wedding to Rabbi Eric Berk at the Warren Center on Oct 14, 2018. It was a perfect fall day with clear skies and almost 62 degrees. My grand dogs, Isabella and Chloe, were the flower girls as were cousins, Anabell and River. It was really nice to have family and friends to celebrate this traditional Jewish wedding. My mother, Joyce Lerner, who many of you have met, was so excited about her 1st grandchild getting married. She looked marvelous at almost 90 years young. She was walked down the aisle by my son Noah, and daughter in law, Ayla. My youngest daughter, Dalia, was the maid of honor and Eric’s brother, Alex, was best man. Eric is from Dallas and they met on J-date in Los Angeles and moved to Huntsville, Alabama where he is the new Rabbi at Temple B’nai Shalom.
Shira as a child helped me at MASH doing house calls and growing up in the clinic. So those of you that have been clients of mine have seen my kids grow up. It is hard for me to believe I have kids this old. My husband Jeffrey and I were very proud and happy parents and excited about their new life in Alabama.

WOW! Congrats to Shira and her new husband! Shira looks beautiful, as does her mother and grandmother! LOVE the colors of dresses and flowers, too 💜. And extra special that your dogs played a part in your special celebration! 🥰

Wish I had seen this earlier but better late than never. Congratulations and blessings to the couple and prayers for many years of happiness and growth together.
