MBRTTM reference PAGE
Fecal Transplants go by many different names. Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT), Fecal Transplantation and Fecal Bacteriotherapy are a few. Here at MASH, we call it Microbiome Restorative Therapy, or MBRT. We believe that we are doing much more than replacing the bacteria in the gut. If the majority of your immune system comes from your GI tract, then by replenishing the bacteria with a sample from a healthy donor, we can start to rebuild that immune system from the inside.
On this page, you will find articles from our colleagues on the benefits of fecal transplantation, and links to companies that provide MicroBiome products.
Dr. Roman has dedicated several years on gut health and has created a website filled with articles on MBRT and procedural guidance. To learn more about the products, visit our MBRT FAQ Page.
