Congralutaions on your newest member of the family

Congratulations! You have chosen to bring a new pet into your home. It wasn't an easy decision, you knew there would be a lot of work and expense; however, the reward of unconditional love and companionship is irreplaceable. In fact, having an animal companion can benefit your family's physical and emotional health!

Now that you have your newest family member home, start planning for ongoing veterinary care. Here at MASH, we take a minimalist approach to vaccinations to limit your pet's exposure to unnecessary toxins. We focus on core vaccines and only give a booster if the antibody level present is not high enough for protection. The list below shows our typical vaccine schedule.

Interested in insurance for your new pet? Holistic care, including nutritional supplements and many alternatives therapies, are covered by some pet insurance companies (holistic riders may apply) like Trupanion, Embrace, and Nationwide to name a few. Be sure to do your research but signing up while your pet is still young can save you money in the long run. The key is having insurance before your pet becomes injured or ill.
