As some of you may know, we have vets from all over the country who use MBRT for their patients. Here is an email we received from Dr. Lucas with Frankie's story.
Frankie, an 11 month old S/F was adopted from a shelter with a past history of hypertrophic osteodystrophy at 9 weeks of age and then severe anxiety that led to snapping at the toddlers in the home. Despite being adopted by a fear-free certified vet tech and seeing a behaviorist, Frankie was relegated to a separate bedroom in the home and put on gabapentin, fluoxetine and clonidine. When I adopted her at 5 months of age, I switched her from Science Diet to raw food and CBD and was able to wean her off the meds. Then about 3 weeks ago she developed an intense phobia of riding on the expressway (we were not in an accident, but maybe the construction noise?) She was distressed to the point of defecating in the car, too!
I had to put her back on the gabapentin and clonidine just so it was safe to drive with her to work :(
Then I remembered hearing you (Dr. Roman) talk about MRBT helping with behavioral issues as well. I had frozen slurry from your Hana in my deep freezer and gave her a treatment following ozone to kill the biofilm per your instructions. She is doing great! No more panic in the car, not on any anxiety meds and her green ocular discharge that has been in her eyes every morning for the past couple of months has also completely cleared up.
